"Calm down." Tawny touched her fiancé's shoulder. Josh pushed her hand away from him.

"There's a Bigfoot at the other end of the road and he would like nothing better than to murder me."

Her fiancé was acting weird. "Bigfoots don't exist. You couldn't have seen one."

A dark shadowy figure dashed from the bedroom door to his bed.

 

Was it a shadow person?

David had read about them—vague, dark shapes that one could vaguely see out of the corner of one's eye that would vanish when looked at directly. He stared at the figure standing by his bed. It didn't vanish. It might be a burglar. The figure slid underneath his bedcovers.
